A dual intrinsically safe and explosion-proof power supply (e.g., ntz/d/2xr1.5) supplies power to two galvanically isolated, intrinsically safe electrical circuits with a nominal voltage of 12 VDC. This unit meets the requirements of 100-250 VAC, 50-60 Hz and provides power to a group of sections (up to 12 sections) with 12 VDC.
