The 21st China International Coal Mining Technology and Equipment Exhibition was successfully held Setting a new course for the industry's smart and green transformation
On October 28, 2025, the 21st China International Coal Mining Technology and Equipment Exhibition was successfully held in Beijing under the theme "New Quality, Smart Future." As a major global event in the coal mining industry, the exhibition serves as both a showcase for the industry's high-quality achievements and a key platform for promoting international technological exchange and cooperation.
This year's exhibition innovatively used the two-site model, using eight halls at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi) and three halls at the Capital International Exhibition Center. The total exhibition area exceeded 160,000 square meters, which became a new record for this event. The event attracted more than 1,200 renowned enterprises from 18 countries and regions, which presented more than 10,000 new products and technologies in 436 specialized sectors. Covering the entire coal production chain, the exhibition received more than 160,000 professional visitors, and all indicators reached unprecedented levels in the history of the exhibition.
The exhibits reflected the trends of intellectual and environmental transformation, demonstrating many interesting new products. The exhibition featured smart mining and transportation equipment, 5G and AI cloud computing platforms, and digital mining management systems. Green products such as energy-saving permanent magnet equipment, all-electric self-driving dump trucks and excavation backfilling equipment closely met the dual goals of reducing carbon emissions and became a practical guide for the development of the industry.
This year's exhibition showcases the industry's technological innovations, which extend to sectors such as non-coal minerals and new energy sources, to bring new impetus to the smart and green transformation of the global coal industry. It is reported that the 22nd edition of the exhibition will take place in 2027 and will continue to build connections for the exchange of industry experiences, helping the sector embark on a new journey together.
